Career Prep High School of Cincinnati

Kerri graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in biology and earned her master of secondary education from Xavier University. She began her career in Cincinnati as a middle school science teacher and then a high school biology teacher.
After earning her principal and assistant superintendent licenses, she began working as a curriculum specialist, first for a traditional school district then in career technical education centers.
Kerri has served as an administrator for several school districts in Cincinnati and Dayton, including one specializing in dropout recovery.
Kerri believes that developing caring relationships and providing a safe learning environment is essential to academic achievement. She is fondly referred to as "school mom" as she encourages her students to make daily progress and earn small wins toward their goals.
